Spending the night on an airport floor! When we were in the USA in 2004/2005, we flew in to Cincinnati to catch a connecting flight to St Louis to see my family. Unfortunately because of a severe snow storm, flights were cancelled and we had to spend the night in the airport. What made it worse was that it was the 23rd December. I was so worried that we wouldn't fly out on the 24th and I couldn't think of anything worse than spending Christmas Eve in an airport.... thankfully we were able to get a flight out at about 9am on Christmas Eve, so we all had a sigh of relief when the plane actually took off!
